Made out of corten steel, the Mahuika will take centre stage of your outdoor entertaining space to ensure a warm and relaxing experience for you and your guests.

Our range of outdoor fireplaces are named after the Maori fire deity, Mahuika. Maui was sent to retreive Mahuika’s firey fingernails from the underworld and bring them to earth to provide fire for warmth, lighting and cooking.

Corten is a 'weathering steel’ - as the steel forms a protective layer on its surface under the influence of the weather; and it is this protective layer that gives corten steel far superior resistance to atmospheric corrosion.

- Raw corten to produce a beautiful rustic orange patina over.
- Blasted and painted to match.

With a 360º removable hot plate, you can turn any gathering into the ultimate social setting, allowing everyone to cook their own kebabs, sliders, or nibbles with ease. But when it's time for a traditional fire pit experience, simply remove the hot plate, and everyone can enjoy the warmth and ambiance.

Designed for both safety and functionality, our fire pits feature an 8mm thick steel cooking top plate with a machined groove around the edge. This innovative design prevents cooking drips from running off, allows juices to drain back into the bowl, and creates a cooling break that reduces heat transfer to the outer edge. The result is a safer, more efficient cooking experience, with a barrier of cooler steel surrounding the fire pit to protect you and your guests.

Our fire pits are constructed with corten steel, except for the hot plate, which adds a modern industrial style to your outdoor area with its pre-rusted effect.
